Anngelle Wood (that's me), host of Boston Emissions on WZLX, is doing the Walk for Animals for Nevins Farm MSPCA (located in Methuen, walk is in Newbury) this Sunday, September 12!

I'm walking for Nevins Farm for a few reasons including the role they play in the care and adoption for both farm animals and companion animals. With many households no longer able to care for their pets large and small, Nevins is lately at capacity. Most importantly though, is Lilly Beans my Bugg (Pug/Boston Terrier mix). She had been with a family who couldn't cover her medical needs once she got hurt. Lilly came to me as a foster dog though Nevins Farm. At 4 months old and recovering from a broken leg, she was tiny, scared and fragile. She needed a place to heal and get her strength back.
On Sunday, she'll be a Marshal at the walk. She is very proud (we are too).
