You're wondering...

where I've been. A few things have contributed to my absence. One of which is a serious family illness.
It has been a tough few weeks. It's not over.

An extended hospital stay is painful for all involved. It's been an awesome (in size, not greatness) learning experience. A real eye-opener. Lessons learned: Ask a lot of questions. Question those questions. Question those questions' questions. Doctors get pissed when you question their knowledge and professional opinions.

Whether you agree or not that there's a need for health care reform, support "ObamaCare" or otherwise, I would like to hear about your experiences with health care - your own or those of a loved one.

  2. I'm so sorry to hear that. My best wishes for you & your family. I hope that there can still be a recovery made.
Always question doctors is great advice. I've been educating doctors all my life when my own personal experience with the illnesses has taught me more than their many years of college.
I'm living proof that doctors can be wrong. Way back in 1984 I was given 5 to 6 years left to live. I've gone 20 years past that. Showed them.
